I recently stumbled upon a podcast episode named Why Pessimism Sounds So Smart and the title was intriguing enough (as you might guess) that I couldn’t help but give it a listen. What Morgan Housel said about pessimism resonated deeply with my own experience of optimism and people’s unwillingness to seek out the positive over the negative.
